If you are 21 or older and did not pass the road test, Ohio requires a four-hour Adult Driver Education course before you can retake the exam. Our online course meets the requirement, and you can finish it on your own schedule from any device.
Options approved by the BMV
Adult applicants may complete a four-hour online course and then choose either four hours of behind-the-wheel instruction with a licensed instructor or 24 hours of driving with a licensed driver 21 years of age or older.
Applicants using the 24-hour driving option cannot complete more than four hours in one day and must complete the Twenty-Four Hour Affidavit, BMV 5789.
